The thousand-acre wood of a a million years ago, fragrant with towering pines, ancient firs, and northern spruces. The scent of crisp evergreens, rounded out by sweet balsam and mossy earth, filtered through a cool forest floor of soft conifer needles.
In a change from our usual sun/moon/clouds/water logo The Forest Primeval features a stylized iridescent forest.
The name is taken from fellow Mainer Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s 1847 poem, Evangeline.
Poured by Linda's artisanal hand in small, carefully crafted batches in the Wary Meyer's studio in Cumberland, Maine. 6.7 oz. 40 hour burn time.
Their candles are made from a blend of premium food grade paraffin (the exact same as what you find on chocolate and cheese), and soy wax. The wick is all cotton. Oils are the highest quality pthalates-free fragrances infused with essential oils. The boxes are made from 100% recycled paper. Glasses are made with recycled glass.
