Kaweco AL Sport Fountain Pen

Starting as early as 1905, Kaweco had already manufactured the first writing instruments made of metal. Products, made of silver or gold-plated brass in the past, are made of aluminium today: A high-quality aluminium manufactured with CNC technology is refined in further processes to obtain its satin finish and hardened surface.

The metallic body made of high-quality aluminium provides an unique haptic experience. Its fine surface imparts elegance and the low weight makes it ideal while on-the-go. Our aluminum fountain pens from Kaweco come fitted with a Fine nib - the Collection line features golden details (nib and logo); other AL sports have silver details. Each pen includes an unpunctured cartridge of Kaweco's Royal Blue ink. 

The Sport pen design, created in 1911, transcends time and remains an international favorite for its compact shape. Perfectly pocket-sized when closed at 4.1 inches, and comfortable to use at 5.2 inches with the cap attached. Thus the Kaweco slogan, "Small in the pocket, great in the hand".
